My Thinking was that, if the pads themselves can offer a decent response, then they may be usable if connected to a Midi Drum Module. Buying a new or even second hand Module was out of the question so I searched DIY and was pleased to find the eDrum site
There are schematics, PCB layouts, component lists , loads of info and a well supported forum. It would seem everything I need to make my own Drum module super cheap.
My idea is to rip the bits out of the ION drum brain and stick a PEARL 8 CH PCB in there (see edrum for details)
1st Job is to make the PCB. Plenty of web resource to show us how to do this...
Dude, I'm having an issue with my IED05 module. Maybe you can give me a few pointers or suggestions?
